Saxophonist Steve Cole is a popular jazz performer whose crossover sound draws from the R&B, pop, and blues influences of his hometown Chicago. He initially gained attention in the late '90s playing alongside guitarist Brian Culbertson and issuing albums like 1998's Stay Awhile and 2003's NY LA.

It is fresh, breezy and provides good background for a quiet dinner out. The first selection, "Can You Feel It," makes a nice smooth start to what evokes cool jazz, with strong guitar, keyboards and electronica, a la Mike Logan on Hammond B-3 and Fender Rhodes, and Steve Cole on keyboards, programming, tenor sax and flute.
