Brent Eccles is a New Zealand drummer best known as a member of Australian rock band The Angels. He has also drummed in The Breed, Vox Pop, Stewart & The Belmonts, Streetalk, Space Waltz, After Hours, and Citizen Band . Eccles left Citizen Band in 1981, after successfully auditioning for The Angels and remained there until they split up in 2000.

Brent Eccles has been involved in the Australasian music industry since 1974 having lived and worked on both sides of the Tasman as a Concert Promoter, Artist Manager & Musician.
In March 1981, Bidstrup left the band, reportedly due to non-musical differences, and was replaced by New Zealander, Brent Eccles (ex-Space Waltz, Citizen Band), on drums and percussion. Bidstrup was a touring member of the Swingers in that year, he joined the Party Boys in 1983 and formed GANGgajang in the following year.
