Winston Roye is a bassist, singer and multi-instrumentalist living in New York City. Winston keeps busy teaching music, and performing and recording with a variety of artists all around the world. He writes, produces, and records for film, television and music, and is in demand as a music director.
TINA THE BROADWAY MUSICAL. This was a fairly crazy setup. I had to play on AND offstage. For the onstage parts representing Ike & Tina in the 50's and 60's, I played a white, maple neck wireless Fender '51 reissue with flatwounds, and a complete overhaul by Matt at 30th Street Guitars.
In November 2012, Winston Roye replaced Tommy Stinson on bass and Justin Sharbono replaced Dan Murphy on guitar. In 2016, Ryan Smith replaced Sharbono. In 2014, Karl Mueller's widow Mary Beth founded the nonprofit Kill Kancer in Karl's memory to help continue the fight against cancer.

Winston Roye had replaced Tommy Stinson on bass. Soon after the release, lead guitarist Dan Murphy had decided to leave the band on good terms. His cousin, Justin Sharbono had picked up where he left off. The band was in full form recording, touring, and experimenting with new sounds and was destined to release another album.
