Chingford Foundation School is a coeducational state secondary school and sixth form located in Chingford in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is a specialist Humanities College and has been an academy since October 2012.

When you walk through the doors of Chingford Foundation School you are immediately made aware of the history and success of our school, deep in the heart of our Chingford community. Our vision is for our curriculum to provide a 'firm foundation for life'.
At Chingford Foundation School, we follow the Local Authority admissions procedure. The London Borough of Waltham Forest administer applications for entry to Year 7. Applications are to be made through eadmissions.org.uk or the Common Application Form from 1st September until 31st October .
Our mission is for every student to at least achieve their target grades and to be engaged in one extra-curricular activity. We recognise that everyone needs support in the mission to be excellent and so on behalf of students we provide the best pastoral care on offer. For Staff.
Through the study of English at Chingford Foundation School, we will: Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in order to allow them to effectively communicate with others and better understand and express themselves.
