Castle House School. An independent day school for children to 11 years. Welcome. Choosing the right school to lay the foundations for learning is one of the biggest challenges any parent will face. As Head I understand that alongside practical choices there are also decisions of the heart.
Haberdashers' Castle House is an independent preparatory day school for boys and girls, first established in 1944, at Chetwynd End, Newport, Shropshire. [2] The school is an associate of the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers. It is also a member of the Haberdashers' West Midlands Academy Trust founded by nearby Haberdashers' Adams.
Art and Design Technology give all pupils the chance for practical, creative work, with end-products of which they can be justly proud. Much attractive artwork by pupils is displayed around the school. French & Spanish are taught throughout the school with many practical activities, games and songs – an emphasis on learning through having fun.
Upper school fees - £3,225 per term, £9,675 annually or £981.90 per month over 10 months. (£3545 per term from Sept 2024) *School fees paid monthly can be paid by Direct Debit only and incur a £4.80 administration fee per month. This is included in the monthly fees shown above.
4 ago 2023 · The GreatStone Castle Resort, also known as the Whitby Mansion, was built in 1890 by W.H.C. Goode. Goode, an industrialist, built the castle with massive stone walls, slate roofs, and combined architectural styles such as Jacobean, Tudor and Châteauesque. The castle is now a bed and breakfast, popular for weddings.

Castle House School is a fantastic place for children to grow in confidence in their academic and personal education. Parent of current year 5 pupil with two older siblings who have now moved on to senior school. Our son joined Castle House in Year 2.
