Geoff Dyson. was the leading British athletics coach in the immediate post-war period, continuing to influence the sport until his resignation in 1961. He was born on 22 June 1914 in Camberwell, London, ran away from home in 1930,25 and on 2 March 1931, he falsified his age to enlist, subsequently becoming a teacher .
They produced three films, introduced by the national coach Geoff Dyson, on sprinting and hurdling, high jump, and throwing the javelin. More people had televisions because 2.5 million people had bought them to watch the Queen’s coronation in 1953.
