Raymundo "Ray" Barretto Pagán (April 29, 1929 – February 17, 2006) was an American percussionist and bandleader of Puerto Rican descent. Throughout his career as a percussionist, he played a wide variety of Latin music styles, as well as Latin jazz.
The Other Side of Abbey Road is a 1970 studio album by American guitarist George Benson of songs from the Beatles' 1969 album Abbey Road. It was his last album for A&M Records. The front cover is a photograph of Benson by Eric Meola in E 53rd Street, Midtown East, New York City.

21 apr 2023 · After leaving the army, Barretto frequented nightclubs and improved his conga-playing skills by participating in jam sessions. One of these sessions caught the attention of Charlie Parker, who was impressed enough to invite Barretto to sit in with his band.
