Career. Trey has been co-owner of Elite Core since its inception in 2014. An entrepreneur at heart, through the years he has owned a sound production company, a DJ business, a video and photography production company, and an online music equipment retail store.
Soon after the release of Invincible in early 2000, Trey McClurkin parted ways with Skillet, and Lori Peters filled the drummer's position. The band released their first worship album and fourth album overall, Ardent Worship , in late 2000.

Coming from different styles of rock music, they decided to name the experiment Skillet. After Trey McClurkin joined the band as a temporary drummer. Skillet was only together for a month when they received interest from major Christian record label ForeFront Records.
30 mag 2019 · Skillet was originally formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1996 with two members: John Cooper (who had been the lead singer for the Tennessee progressive rock band Seraph) and Ken Steorts (former guitarist for Urgent Cry). Drummer Trey McClurkin came in to complete the line-up for the original band.
Hey You, I Love Your Soul is the second studio album by American Christian rock band Skillet. It was released on April 21, 1998 as an enhanced CD on ForeFront Records and Ardent Records. Hey You, I Love Soul introduces the industrial rock sound that carries onto Alien Youth, with songs like the title track "Hey You, I Love Your Soul" and "Take".
