Trama. In seguito alla morte di Superman, l'ufficiale dell'intelligence Amanda Waller convince il governo degli Stati Uniti a dare il via libera alla Task Force X, un gruppo composto da alcuni supercriminali rinchiusi nel carcere di Belle Reve che riceveranno sconti di pena compiendo missioni per il governo.
