Hugh Leslie Gibb (15 January 1916 – 6 March 1992) was an English drummer, bandleader and the father of musicians Barry, Robin, Maurice and Andy Gibb. Barry, Robin and Maurice would go on to form the Bee Gees, one of the most successful musical groups of all time, while Andy would make a name of his own as a solo performer.
Born on the Isle of Man during the late 1940s, the Gibb brothers moved to their father Hugh Gibb 's home town Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, England, in 1955.
