Ray Monette is an American musician born May 7, 1946. Career. He started his career as a session musician with Motown. He was also a songwriter and, in 1967 Detroit started a band called The Abstract Reality, who released a 45 rpm single "Love Burns Like A Fire Inside".

7 mar 2015 · At this point Ray Monette (guitar, vocals) replaced Rod Richards (who later joined Noel Redding in Road) in the band’s lineup. Like Richards, Monette’s guitar work played an essential role in the band’s sound, with Monette’s style displaying exceptional versatility. Mark Olson (keyboards, vocals) likewise replaced Kenny James.
