Il parco nazionale delle Badlands (in inglese: Badlands National Park, letteralmente "parco nazionale delle terre cattive" o "dei calanchi ") è un parco nazionale statunitense situato nello Stato del Dakota del Sud. Copre una superficie di 982,40 km².
Badlands are a type of dry terrain where softer sedimentary rocks and clay -rich soils have been extensively eroded. [1] They are characterized by steep slopes, minimal vegetation, lack of a substantial regolith, and high drainage density. [2]
