School Info. At Burnaby North Secondary School we strive to develop the full potential of every student by using many different approaches to learning in a range and variety of programs in grades 8 through 12. Founded in 1922, Burnaby North was the city’s first high school.
Burnaby North Secondary School is a secondary school in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. It encompasses two buildings at 751 Hammarskjold Drive in Burnaby. Nearly 1,800 students from grades 8 to 12 attend the school. [4] A statue of a Viking head, the mascot of the school's sports teams, stands in front of the two buildings.

2 feb 2024 · Education and Child Care. New Burnaby school opens, construction on another underway. Students and staff are returning to safer classrooms now that the seismically safer replacement of Burnaby North Secondary school is complete.
