Star Cops is a British science fiction television drama series first broadcast on BBC2 in 1987. It was devised by Chris Boucher, a writer who had previously worked on the science fiction television series Doctor Who and Blake's 7, as well as crime dramas such as Juliet Bravo and Bergerac.
The adventures of the International Space Police Force, led by Nathan Spring, in 2027. The Star Cops are made up of officers from all over the world: the British Colin Devis, the Australian Pal Kenzy, the Russian Alexander Krivenko, the Japanese Anna Shoun and the American David Theroux.

What is Star Cops? Star Cops originated as a police drama series, broadcast in 1987, set on Earth and in Space some forty years into the future. It followed Nathan Spring, a police chief inspector who finds himself catapulted into the job of Commander of the International Space Police Force, who everyone affectionately calls the Star Cops .
