  4. The Law Faculty of Charles University was formed in 1348 as one of four faculties of the newly established Charles University. Presently, with more than 4500 students, the Faculty of Law is the largest accredited law faculty in the Czech Republic.

  5. The Faculty of Law of Charles University (Czech: Právnická fakulta Univerzity Karlovy) is one of the original four faculties of Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 1348 by Charles IV on the basis of a bull of Pope Clement VI, it is the oldest law school in the Czech Republic and Central Europe.

  6. Legal sciences developed significantly in the last century, and did so at the Czech Faculty of Law that emerged after the division of the Charles-Ferdinand university into two separate institutions (one with Czech and one with German as teaching language).

  7. Courses Taught in English and in Other Foreign Languages. Charles University in Prague consists of 17 faculties. During your stay, you will be officially enrolled at one of these faculties, depending on your field of study. That will be your host faculty.
