James Frederick Lilja (born May 7, 1966) is an American gynecologic oncologist and a musician. He was the first drummer of the punk rock band the Offspring, performing with the band between 1984 and 1987.

The Offspring. American punk rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally called Manic Subsidal, they began performing in 1984, composed of Bryan Holland (vocals, guitar), Greg Kriesel (bass, vocals) and James Frederick Lilja (drums). Changed their name to The Offspring in 1986.
