Historia de Amour is Yolandita Monge's twelfth (12th) studio album and second with CBS Records (now Sony Music Latin). It follows the same formula of her previous release and includes the hits "Serás Mío", "Perdóname Otra Vez", "Que Te Hice", and "Sí".

She then released another album Historia de Amour which included many top hits. In 1983, she won the Buga Festival, in Buga, Colombia with a song that she wrote her self called Sí (Yes). Her next release in 1983, Sueños, continued her ascent as one of the most important and best selling female singers in Puerto Rico.
