On March 26, 2010, Hates released A Collection Of... which is a best-of compilation album. On November 12, 2010, the single Echo in Me from the upcoming album Ego:X was released. On August 26, 2011, the album arrived in Europe in four different versions. The US release date was September 11, 2011.

Diary Of Dreams. German synth-rock/electronic act, initially formed in 1989 as a dark wave/gothic rock band. After five albums the band changed their musical style drastically, adding elements of future pop and dance music, and harsh guitar riffs.

Diary of Dreams is a darkwave project from Düsseldorf, Germany. The lead singer and founding member Adrian Hates has produced most of the albums by himself or with minimal help from others. He rarely uses a full band, except when he is on tour.
German group Diary of Dreams' music ranges from darkwave and gothic rock to electro-industrial and future pop. The brainchild of classically trained guitarist and pianist Adrian Hates, who leads an ever-changing cast of collaborators, Diary of Dreams debuted with the brooding, dramatic full-length Cholymelan in 1994.
