My story . I was born in Hoshiarpur, India (East Punjab). At about one year of age, my family migrated to Pakistan during the 1947 partition of India and Pakistan. As we all can recall, this was one of the largest migrations of the 20th century, as over 12 million people were displaced and over 1 million were killed in riots.
