Website. www .brooks .edu, defunct. The Brooks Institute was a private for-profit art school in Ventura, California. It was formerly the Brooks Institute of Photography and was originally based in Montecito and Santa Barbara. [2] Brooks Institute offered four majors and two graduate programs.

The 9,000+ member Alumni Association of Brooks Institute has remained strong since its formation in the late 1990s. In 2018, we partnered with the newly formed Ernest Brooks Foundation to become the Brooks Alumni Association.
