John Gorka (born July 27, 1958) is an American singer-songwriter. In 1991, Rolling Stone magazine called him "the preeminent male singer-songwriter of what has been dubbed the New Folk Movement." [2]
In August 2001, Kaplansky had sung harmony with John Gorka in a concert on the World Trade Center plaza.
