Margaret Scudamore (13 November 1881 – 5 October 1958) was an English theatre and film actress who began in ingenue roles before achieving a prolonged career in stage and screen support roles.

However Redgrave did return to Britain, appearing in repertory at the Grand Theatre, Brighton, where he met Daisy Bertha Mary Scudamore. She eventually adopted the stage name Margaret Scudamore.

26 feb 2024 · His mother and father, Margaret Scudamore and Roy Redgrave were both actors so Michael, having travelled around Britain and Australia with his parents, made his stage debut as a young child. Thespian genetics and a life on tour meant Michael’s fate as an actor was sealed.
