Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus war ein deutscher Heeresoffizier und im Zweiten Weltkrieg Oberbefehlshaber der 6. Armee während der Schlacht von Stalingrad. Paulus war von 1943 bis 1953 in sowjetischer Kriegsgefangenschaft und lebte danach bis zu seinem Tod in der DDR.
