Nobuhiko Matsunaka (松中 信彦, Matsunaka Nobuhiko, born December 26, 1973 in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto, Japan) is a former left fielder and designated hitter for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. He played in the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympics as well as the 2006 World Baseball Classic, hitting cleanup in 1996 and 2006.

In January 2006, Matsunaka signed a seven-year contract with the Hawks, setting a new NPB record, surpassing Daisuke Miura 's 6-year deal. He starred for Japan's winning team in the 2006 World Baseball Classic, batting .433/.528/.567 and scoring 11 runs in 8 games.
