Leslie Law MBE (born 5 May 1965) is a British eventer, who won the individual gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. He started riding at age 10, competing with his brother, and participated in his first accredited event in 1982.

Leslie Law. Leslie Law is the Athen's individual Olympic champion and team silver medalist. In the Athens Three Day Event he performed a personal best in the dressage with a score of 43.2 and following an uncomfortable moment at the water jump went onto complete an almost perfect cross country round with only 1.2 time penalties.

3 giorni fa · Leslie Law was born and raised in rural Herefordshire but did not come from the traditional wealthy background of other equestrian competitors. He struggled for recognition in the early part of his career but when the regular rider of Welton Apollo was struck down by illness, Law took over the ride and they formed a partnership which led to them being chosen for the 1989 European Championship.
He was a team member when Britain won the European Championships in 2001 and 2003 and silver medals at both the 2000 Olympic Games and the 2002 World Equestrian Games. Law’s greatest moment came in controversial circumstances at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
