Owen Wijndal has been playing for Ajax since the summer of 2022, after transferring from his previous club AZ. On July 30, 2022, the defender made his official debut for Ajax 1 in the Johan Cruijff Shield match against PSV, which ended in a 3-5 defeat.
Owen Wijndal signed a five-year contract at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Tuesday. The 22-year-old left wing back played several times for AZ and the Dutch national team in Amsterdam, but will do so wearing an Ajax kit for the first time this coming season.
