I fratelli Wyatt Earp, Morgan Earp e Virgil Earp con Doc Holliday duellarono contro Billy Claiborne, Frank McLaury, Tom McLaury, Billy Clanton e Ike Clanton. In trenta secondi furono sparati una trentina di colpi di pistola. I due McLaury vennero uccisi, così come Billy Clanton, mentre Billy Claiborne e Ike Clanton fuggirono perché disarmati.

22 dic 2023 · Ike Clanton filed murder charges against the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday after the O.K. Corral gunfight, leading to their arrest and release on bail. After failing to get the Earps prosecuted, Clanton led a group to assassinate Virgil Earp, leaving him handicapped for life.
11 nov 2020 · He was shot and killed on June 1st, 1887 near Eagle Creek in the White Mountains of eastern AZ. Two lawmen, Jake Brighton and Albert Miller, were attempting to arrest him for cattle theft at Jim “Peg Leg” Wilson’s ranch. Suddenly, Ike wheeled his horse around and bolted toward a thick stand of trees nearby.
