Ramírez Sánchez ha ammesso di essere stato responsabile di una bomba in una banca di Londra e di aver messo delle autobombe presso le sedi di tre giornali francesi accusati di sentimenti filo-israeliani. Carlos ha confessato anche di aver lanciato una granata in un ristorante di Parigi, uccidendo due persone e ferendone trenta.

He has been in prison since 1994 after being captured in Sudan by French Special Forces. Carlos the Jackal was handed his third life sentence in 2017.
