Mansaku Itami, pseudonimo di Yoshitoyo Ikeuchi è stato un regista e sceneggiatore giapponese, tra i maggiori innovatori del genere jidai-geki degli anni trenta, come Sadao Yamanaka e dalla carriera quasi altrettanto breve. He is one of the individuals responsible for laying the groundwork of the Japanese film industry. His son was the actor and director Juzo ITAMI. The author Kenzaburo OE is his son-in-law.
