19 lug 2002 · In his youth, King Hu (Mandarin name: Hu Jinquan) was captivated by Beijing Opera: in interviews, Hu reminisced about watching the martial arts segments of operas featuring Sun Wukong (the Monkey King – the hero of the classic fantasy novel Journey to the West) and reading comic books adapted from operas and martial arts novels.
