Dame Elizabeth Gloster, Lady Popplewell, DBE, PC (born 5 June 1949) is a British lawyer who was a judge of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales and Vice-President of the Civil Division. She was the first female judge of the Commercial Court.
23 feb 2023 · The Independent Reviewer, Dame Elizabeth Gloster, was approved by HM Treasury to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collapse of LCF. HM Treasury published her report on 17 December 2020, assessing the FCA’s actions, policies and approach when regulating LCF between April 2014 and January 2019.

The Rt. Hon. Dame Elizabeth Gloster, DBE, PC Call 1971 QC 1989 Dame Elizabeth Gloster practised as a commercial and Chancery QC at One Essex Court from 1991 until 2004, before accepting an appointment as a High Court judge, becoming the first woman to be appointed a judge of the Commercial Court.
