Humor Risk, also known as Humorisk, is a lost unreleased 1921 silent comedy short film. It is the first film to star the Marx Brothers, and was the only Marx Brothers movie until the release of their 1929 musical comedy The Cocoanuts.

The silent Humor Risk was made privately by the Marx Brothers in 1921. According to popular belief, it was never completed but nevertheless screened once in Bronx in a matinée for kids, whose lack of interest accounted for the movie to remain unreleased.

1 nov 2023 · Humor Risk (aka Humorisk) is a 1921 silent short film by the Marx Brothers. The film is known for being the first on-screen appearance for the legendary comedy group whose talkie films were well received following the breakthrough of their 1929 hit "The Cocoanuts."
This silent film was the first (but never released) Marx Brothers film, and is presumed lost. It may have been destroyed by Groucho, who is said to have burnt the negative after a particularly bad premiere screening.
