Killed by My Debt is a 2018 BBC Three drama film based on the life of Jerome Rogers who died by suicide aged twenty, having accrued debts of over £1,000. The debt was executed by Andrew Maughan of The London Borough of Camden, & Mike Marrs of Marston Holdings Ltd, stemming from two unpaid £65 traffic fines. [1]

Killed by My Debt: Directed by Joseph Bullman. With Tamara Alexander, Owen Brazendale, Juliet Cowan, Calvin Demba. Jerome manages to get a motorbike and a job as a courier when he gets two traffic fines and bailiffs start calling. On a zero-hour contract and wages sometimes less than £20, under increasing pressure, Jerome cannot see a way out.
