With María Félix, Jack Palance, Pedro Armendáriz, Juan Múzquiz. In a Mexican fishing village, gringo Jim Gatsby hatches an illegal shrimp-catching scheme and runs afoul of local authorities as well as of jealous Mexican fisherman Pepe Gamboa who suspects his wife Magdalena of infidelity.
