Contractor 014352 is a multi award winning short film on which I was priviliged to be the VFX Supervisor and Senior Compositor. Directed by Simon Ryninks, the film is a surreal, freewheeling journey through time, space, and spreadsheets - with a lot of heart.
The always excellent Johnny Flynn plays a clerk in an office who has been asked to send a "standard dismissal" template to contractors on the company's books. He imagines the life of one of those contractors, and longs for a connection in a socially disconnected world.
