Composed in 1868, "Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald", Op. 325, was one of six Viennese waltzes by Johann Strauss II which featured a virtuoso part for zither. The title of Strauss' dance recalls the folk music of the inhabitants of the Vienna Woods .

A faun comes to an enchanted fountain to meet his playmate, a satyr, who only comes to life when the sun is up. They frolic through the Vienna woods, to Austrian classical selections (I assume) until humans, as they do, come along and almost ruin it for everybody. It's cute.
