The Age for Love is a 1931 American pre-Code comedy film (now lost [citation needed]) directed by Frank Lloyd based on the 1930 novel of the same name by Ernest Pascal. The film was a vehicle for Howard Hughes' mistress Billie Dove. The film was a commercial failure, but this did not stop Hughes funding another film for Billie Dove.

In the Mood for Love (Chinese: 花樣年華; lit. 'Flowery Years') is a 2000 romantic drama film written, produced and directed by Wong Kar-wai. A co-production between Hong Kong and France, it portrays a man and a woman (Maggie Cheung) in 1962 whose spouses have an affair together and who slowly develop feelings for each other.
