Return to Macon County is a 1975 American action drama film. Although written and directed by Richard Compton, who was responsible for the 1974 drive-in classic Macon County Line, and bearing a similar title, this film is not the latter film's sequel.
23 lug 1975 · With Nick Nolte, Don Johnson, Robin Mattson, Robert Viharo. Two young men in a fast car travel through Georgia in the summer of 1958 en route to enter the National Championship drag races in California. In Macon County they pick up a wild girl who brings trouble and attract the ire of a local cop.

Two small-town teenagers, drag racer Bo (Nick Nolte) and mechanic Harley (Don Johnson), embark on a road trip from Georgia to California with the intention of entering a drag-racing contest.

This is the first film effort for actor Nick Nolte. When they’re just out for fun, the fun turns foul for two wild guys who head down Georgia way where they run into trouble with the law, Georgia style.
