Gudia is a 1997 Indian drama film directed by Gautam Ghose. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature film in Hindi. It is based on a short story of Mahasweta Devi.
'Gudia' is about 2 ventriloquists who earn their meagre living through this talent, and a life-size doll they affectionately named Urvashi, in a coastal village in Goa, India. When the mentor falls ill, the student takes up the job and thus, begins his journey with the Doll.

Gudia. INDIA 1997. Il musicista Johnny si unisce alla compagnia di Hameed, un ventriloquo.
