7 apr 2022 · Wild Iris (2001) A weary young woman, Iris Brevard, is forced to move in with her overbearing mother, Min, following her husband’s suicide. She finds her only escape from her mother’s badgering is to verbally fight back and to hide herself in an alcoholic haze.
After her husband Ronnie's cowardly suicide, "wild" Iris (Laura Linney) and her son have no choice but to move in with her critical and domineering mother Minnie (Gena Rowlands), who blames Iris for Ronnie's death. 8 years later, Iris still lives there and makes wedding dresses for pregnant teenagers for her mother's shop.
