Toots & The Maytals. Jamaican Reggae vocal trio formed by Toots Hibbert, Nathaniel "Jerry" Matthias & Henry "Raleigh" Gordon in 1961 as "The Vikings" and made their first recordings in 1962 for coxsone Dodd. They later changed their name to "The Maytals".
