Gli Hellhammer sono stati un gruppo heavy metal svizzero, originario di Zurigo. Nati dalla volontà di Tom G. Warrior (poi leader dei seminali Celtic Frost ), gli Hellhammer sono stati tra i primi (insieme ai Bathory) a spingersi verso sonorità decisamente estreme e inaccessibili ai più.
