Dieselhed formed in 1989 in Arcata, California later moving to San Francisco, California, playing a blend of country, punk, and pseudo-classic rock. Drummer Heifetz spread his time between Dieselhed and the genre-bending experimentalists Mr. Bungle .
Dieselhed, 1994. Our 1st release, featuring classic rock numbers such as “B.A. Band” and “Macrame X-mas Cards”, the pop-country stylings of “Poodle’s Ear” and “Greyhound”, and of course, the hard rock sounds of “Sergio Taurus” and the live “Happy Donut”. A real smorgasborg of sounds and styles.
For reasons unknown, I’d remembered the address for the Brown Dragon-era Dieselhed website – it had ~tubesox in it – and surprisingly I found it works on the Wayback Machine. So too the original Dieselhed.com website from 1998-2001, or thereabouts.
