Bruce Clifford Gilbert (born 18 May 1946) is an English musician. One of the founding members of the influential and experimental art punk band Wire, he branched out into electronic music, performance art, music production, and DJing during the band's extended periods of inactivity.

The United Kingdom's Bruce Gilbert is most well known for being the guitarist for the British Post-Punk band Wire. Gilbert had a background in the Avant-Garde and was a former art school student. In 1984 Gilbert released his first solo album, titled This Way. It was commissioned for a dance titled 'Do You Me? I Did'.
