Eddy Grant. Guyanese-British singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, born 5 March 1948 in Plaisance, British Guiana (now Guyana). When he was still a young boy, his parents emigrated to the UK, where he settled.
Biography. Since "Black Skin, Blue Eyed Boys" through "Living on the Frontline", Eddy Grant has been recognised as a vociferous promoter, through socio-political commentary, of the culture and achievements of contemporary black people.
Eddy Grant has released 15 studio albums, 13 compilation albums and 19 singles. His album Killer on the Rampage peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart in the US and was certified gold.
