Rudolf Breitscheid (* 2. November 1874 in Köln; † 24. August 1944 im KZ Buchenwald) war ein deutscher Politiker. Der promovierte Nationalökonom engagierte sich zunächst in der linksliberalen Freisinnigen Vereinigung, ab 1908 war er Vorsitzender der Demokratischen Vereinigung.
Rudolf Breitscheid (2 November 1874 – 28 August 1944) was a German politician and leading member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) during the Weimar Republic. Once leader of the liberal Democratic Union, he joined the SPD in 1912.
Rudolf Breitscheid est un homme politique socialiste allemand, né le 2 novembre 1874 à Cologne et mort le 24 août 1944 au camp de Buchenwald. Actif dans la Résistance allemande au nazisme, il fut arrêté par la police française et livré à la Gestapo.
