Victoria Mary Prentis, KC (née Boswell; born 24 March 1971) is a British lawyer who has served as the Attorney General for England and Wales since October 2022. Prentis has served as the Member of Parliament for Banbury since 2015. She is a member of the Conservative Party.

30 mag 2024 · Parliament was officially dissolved at midnight, ending Victoria Prentis’ time as the MP for Bicester. With the former Banbury and Bicester constituency having been split Mrs Prentis had to choose in which area she would stand on July 4.
Victoria Prentis is the chief legal adviser to the Crown and the head of the Law Officers’ departments. She was appointed Attorney General in October 2022 and has previously served as a minister in the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

In September 2022, I was appointed Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). During this time, I was responsible for Work and Welfare. In October 2022, I was appointed Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland.
