Nikola Mihaylov Mihov (Bulgarian: Никола Михайлов Михов, 11 December 1891 – 1 February 1945) was a Bulgarian lieutenant general of artillery who served as one of the three Regents of Bulgaria for the underage Simeon II (1943–44).
Processing… explores the Mona Lisa as the most recognisable icon of modern culture, a product of mass consumption, and a place of worship which attracts millions of visitors. Over several years, Nikola Mihov has spent 138 hours in total in front of the Mona Lisa, mingling in the motley crowd coming from all over the world.

Mihov’s work has been nominated for the Deutsche Börse Photography prize and the Kassel Dummy Award.
The project Forget Your Past traces the fate of 14 of the most important communist-era monuments in Bulgaria, from their construction to the present day. The title is borrowed from the words Forget Your Past graffitied over the entrance of the Bulgarian Communist Party Memorial at Mount Buzludzha, which poignantly illustrates the monuments’ fate.
Nikola Mihov is a visual artist working with documentary photography. He was born in Sofia in 1982. In 2002 he moved to Paris, where he became interested in photography.
