Augustin-Norbert Morin (October 13, 1803 – July 27, 1865) was a Canadien journalist, lawyer, politician, and rebel in Lower Canada. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada in the 1830s, as a leading member of the Parti patriote.

Morin had great academic success and chose to study law. He also wrote for newspapers in Quebec and later, when he moved to there in 1823, in Montreal. In 1830, Morin was elected to represent Bellechasse in the Assembly. By all accounts, he was an unusual choice, as he was not a typical politician.
Augustin-Norbert Morin was the eldest of 11 children who were the seventh generation of Morins in Canada. Despite his impressive height, Morin’s health was delicate and at an early age he was subject to violent attacks of rheumatism which forced him to restrict his activities.
Réélu à une élection partielle le 26 janvier 1834, envoyé en Angleterre par l'Assemblée avec Denis-Benjamin Viger pour présenter et défendre les 92 Résolutions, dont il fut l'un des rédacteurs. Réélu en 1834, modéré jusqu'en 1836, puis radical. Fut le chef de l'insurrection de 1837 à Québec.
