Sanada Nobushige (真田 信繁, 1567 – June 3, 1615), also known as Sanada Yukimura (真田 幸村), was a Japanese samurai warrior of the Sengoku period. He was especially known as the leading general on the defending side of the Siege of Osaka.

3 giu 2011 · Sanada Yukimura is probably the most famous of the Sanada clan of Shinano province. He was the second son of Sanada Masayuki and his wife (Kanshô-in 寒松院); his older brother was Nobuyuki. The Sanada had been loyal vassals of Takeda Shingen, the famed daimyo of Kai province.
After winning the Battle of Sekigahara, Ieyasu established the Edo Shogunate. Furthermore, Ieyasu destroyed the Toyotomi family left behind by Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the Battle of Osaka. It was Yukimura Sanada (his real name was Yukimura) who drove Ieyasu into a predicament in this battle of Osaka.
Sanada Yukimura is a famous general who lost the battle of Sekigahara and ultimately Japan. He escaped Kudoyama and planned the assassination of Tokugawa Ieyasu, though it was never carried out. Yukimura travels with Kyo in order to defeat the Mibu Clan and Oda Nobunaga.
